Hours

The Castle is open to the public Thursdays and Fridays from 11PM to 4PM and Saturdays and Sundays 12noon to 4pm.

Tours of the Castle are given on the weekends at 1pm and 3pm

At this time we are not handicap accessible to the second floor.

Admission

A $3 per person donation is suggested. BHS ’s operating expenses are funded by your contributions, and fundraising from private, public, and corporate sources. Please make a donation at the front table to help defray the costs of maintaining this historic building, programming, and archival collections.

Directions

Bus: Q13 or Q16 to Fort Totten.

LIRR: Port Washington Line to Bayside & take cab or the bus to Fort Totten.

Car: Clearview Expressway to Exit 7 (Willets Point Boulevard); turn right onto Bell Boulevard; turn left onto 212th Street which leads into Fort Totten - or - Cross Island Parkway North to Exit 32 (Bell Boulevard) and make a right at the light into Little Bay Park and Fort Totten Park.**

**Parking is available at the Little Bay Park parking lot just outside of the Fort Totten entrance.
