The Castle is open to the public during the following hours.

Thursdays and Fridays 10am - 3pm

Sundays noon - 4pm

Suggested donation: $3.00

At this time we are not handicap accessible to the second floor.

Admission

A $3 per person donation is suggested. BHS’s operating expenses are funded by your contributions, and fundraising from private, public, and corporate sources. Please make a donation at the front table to help defray the costs of maintaining this historic building, programming, and archival collections.

Directions

Bus: Q13 or Q16 to Fort Totten.

LIRR: Port Washington Line to Bayside & take cab or the bus to Fort Totten.

Car: Clearview Expressway to Exit 7 (Willets Point Boulevard); turn right onto Bell Boulevard; turn left onto 212th Street which leads into Fort Totten - or - Cross Island Parkway North to Exit 32 (Bell Boulevard) and make a right at the light into Little Bay Park and Fort Totten Park.**

**Parking is available at the Little Bay Park parking lot just outside of the Fort Totten entrance.
