Part of Bayside Historical Society's Author Talk at the Castle Series

Cost: Free for BHS members; $5.00 for non-members

Bayside Historical Society welcomes author Lou Duro for a presentation about his book, Be Bop A Lula. Raised in Bayside in the 1950s, Lou writes about how Bayside and rock n' roll came of age at the same time, and paints a colorful picture of growing up in Queens back in the days of egg creams and cherry cokes, drive-ins and make-out sessions, hot rods and motorcycles. Join us as we reminisce about the Bayside locales of our youth (some of which are still going strong!) and take a nostalgic walk down memory lane.
