"Dreams and Destinations"
A collection of work by Bayside High School's art students, 2025-2026.
On the verge of high school graduation, the artists who created this selection of work are doing quite a bit of soul searching. It's a time to consider their next move. They reflect on what they have seen, where they have been, comparing concrete knowledge to the abstract. They skirt the boundary between dreams and reality, some clinging to nostalgia and others yearning for adventure. It's an amazing stage in life, and these artists express so with tempera paint, pastels, digital photos, and colored pencils. Perhaps this body of work will have viewers fantasizing as well.
