Gardening at The Castle
Help give back to the community while sharing your love of gardening in a social setting.

Gardening Sessions
Sessions are offered on select Saturdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm, per our calendar.
We're inviting community volunteers to join Bayside Historical Society's fun and rewarding gardening sessions — everyone from beginners to experts is welcome! Opportunities are available year-round, from clearing old plants and refreshing beds in the spring, to maintaining a healthy garden in the summer, raking leaves and dividing perennials in the fall, and protecting plants through the winter. Special seasonal projects, such as creating pollinator gardens and vegetable patches and planting bulbs, help our gardens thrive throughout the year. Gardening sessions are always free, and all tools and supplies are provided. It's a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the beauty of The Castle while connecting with fellow community members who share a love for nature and gardening.
