Education Director, Part-Time
Coordinate, plan, schedule, and teach field trips at our historic "Castle" building at Fort Totten. Duties include administering our education program, managing program volunteers, working with teachers to schedule trips, and devising/refining curriculum. Hourly rate. Museum Education Intern
The internship will consist of assisting in day-to-day operations of the Education Department at BHS. Primary responsibilities include facilitating and teaching hands-on workshops that encourage interest in and understand of history by school children grades K through 5. Help out with K-5 field trips at the Castle, our historic building at Fort Totten, where students learn about everyday life in Queens in the early 1900s through hands-on activities.
