As citizens come together on Giving Tuesday in a show of support for communities and nonprofits around the world, we hope you'll consider making a gift to support the Bayside Historical Society.
 

The Society was founded 61 years ago with the objectives to identify, collect, preserve, and maintain materials that document the community's history, including Bayside and Northeast Queens. BHS also seeks to provide public access to these materials, and to enrich and enhance the lives of the children and adults of these communities through research, exhibits and educational programs about the history and heritage of Bayside.

• Present public programs in the arts and humanities

• Bring history to life for the students in our education program

• Document information about the history of Bayside and its surrounding communities

• Fight for the preservation of our neighborhood's most historic structures, including the historic Lawrence Cemetery
