About The Event

Visit this NYC Landmark and final resting place of the city's first popularly elected mayor, Cornelius Van Wyck Lawrence, and other descendants of one of Bayside's founding families. History will come alive as we recount the stories of different members of the Lawrence family. The Lawrence Cemetery is located at the corner of 216th Street and 42nd Avenue. Please note: This tour will require walking on uneven ground and there are no restrooms on site.
