About The Event
Time: All classes begin at 12 noon, with doors open for registration at 11:30am.
Cost: $15 per session
Stephanie, a Certified Yoga Teacher, will conduct a gentle yoga class that includes some light weight training. This class is geared toward students over 50. If your doctor has cleared you to do light exercise, this is the class for you! Stephanie offers a very personal class, focusing on body issues that older adults have developed over the years. She modifies poses to meet the needs of her students in a safe, non-judgmental, fun, positive community class that leaves them feeling energized, relaxed, happy and ready to face the world. There will be specific exercises for balance, flexibility, strength and endurance. It is an ideal way to rejuvenate the body and revitalize the mind.
