About The Event
Cost: $8 BHS members; $10 non-members
Do you sew, quilt, or enjoy handwork like embroidery or knitting? Join fellow sewing enthusiasts for an afternoon of creativity and conversation. We meet in the upstairs Castle reception hall, which is full of sunlight and views of the open fields and Little Neck Bay. Bring a project you're currently working on and enjoy a relaxed, creative environment with others who share your interest.
While this is not a sewing class, beginners are warmly welcomed and may find helpful tips and inspiration from others. A limited number of sewing machines are available, so please bring your own if you have one. Also, don't feel obligated to sew on a machine — handwork projects of all kinds are always welcome!
