Bringing History to Life!
The goal of the Society’s programs is to enhance the New York State Standards in Social Studies and curriculum through interactive programs for elementary through high school age children. Many of the programs offered utilize the Society’s Archives. By using primary and secondary sources, students are encouraged to become active historians. Grandmother’s Trunk.....Grades 2-6 Exploring Artifacts.....Grades 3-6 The Bell Family.....Grades 4-12 Investigative Research.....Grades 9-12 A Victorian Tea*.....Grades 3-12 Program Costs & Duration: One to one and one half hours. Cost $5* per student. Please call three weeks in advance to reserve date and time. *Additional charges apply to A Victorian Tea |
